Lake Aloha
Lake Aloha, at the extreme end of the scale from the tropic in Desolation Valley Wilderness, Sierra Nevada. A spectacular high Sierra location that is very easy to reach from Highway 50, Echo Summit. Park at Echo Lake lodge and take the ferry, or hike the length of the Lake, plus a few miles over to the west to reach the valley.
